Hello! I'm Camila, a concept-focused illustrator from Monterrey, Mexico, currently earning my BFA in Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design, with a minor in Costume Design. I specialize in character and creature design, using storytelling and costuming to bring fantasy worlds to life. My work is driven by a love for whimsical creatures, imaginative storytelling, and visual worlds that invite audiences to believe in magic.
My illustration career began in high school, where I worked as the cartoonist for my school's student-led newspaper: El 107. Additionally, I was an executive member of the school's Wall Painting Club, a community service club that volunteered at local spaces such as elementary schools and shelters to paint murals. My job entailed illustrating and designing the murals that were to be painted at these spaces.
