My illustration career began in high school, where I worked as the cartoonist for my school's student-led newspaper: El 107. Additionally, I was an executive member of the school's Wall Painting Club, a community service club that volunteered at local spaces such as elementary schools and shelters to paint murals. My job entailed illustrating and designing the murals that were to be painted at these spaces .
